Why is it that people will spend thousands of dollars for a wedding but can not invest in keeping a marriage going?

Often I have watched a husband and a wife give up and not fight for their marriage. If you want something bad enough then you have to put some effort into it.

Marriage is a commitment and of course we all assume it’s easier to give up and move on, but remember when you loved that person and would do anything for that person.

Giving up doesn’t count.

For years I always said that marriage seemed a hassle. But now at this stage in my life, I see marriage as a commitment from both sides. I want someone to stick by my side through all the decisions we will have to make and will totally support me.

I am ready for my other half to fight with me for what’s important in life and that includes marriage.
