My friend and former TV news coworker Michael posted this pic on his Facebook page. No, this is not Michael’s vehicle nor does it belong to anyone he personally knows. He writes, “co-workers spotted this car.”

I wouldn’t decorate my car with smiley faces and a big “Just Divorced” after a judge declared my marriage had legally ended, but I also wouldn’t decorate my car with all the “Just Married” trappings either. When I got married, thankfully no one covered the vehicles belonging to me and my now-ex in white crepe paper, twine, words, or aluminum cans.

My comment to Michael in response to this person’s car is, “Wow he or she was emotionally and mentally ready to make the end of THAT marriage final!”
