Change For Yourself

Change can be good. Some people want to eat healthier, stop drinking or smoking, or exercising more. Whatever it is then you should go for it. Change will only happen with self discipline and control.

But what do you do if you are trying to better yourself but your partner is not willing to change?

Exactly What I Imagined

for_sale_SipandGoGirl_FilipowiczWhat if everything is exactly the way that we imagine it to be? For better or worse?

In TV newsrooms across the country in all 210 markets, there are the same types of employees. It’s as though the stations are staffed by Central Casting. There’s the quiet editor who barely says a word to anyone, an overly flirtatious producer, and the reporter who runs around in a panic about every story like he or she is covering the shooting of John F. Kennedy rather than the annual story about chilly weather meaning it’s time to cover your plants, bring in the pets from the outside, and wrap your home’s pipes.

So, by 6:30p.m. I was on edge. And because I had a massive craving for something specifically sweet, I left my apartment for the coolness of Dairy Queen.

They have a newish tasty delight called Peanut Butter Bash. It’s vanilla soft serve covered in a peanut butter sauce, chocolate sauce, and bits of chocolate. Oh it is quite good.

I Believe In Magic

I tend to think when I’m blue that the rest of the world is feeling fabulous. And I’ve been blue recently. But the last few days, I’m starting to notice that while not everyone might as blue as me, there’s still a general attitude of “Boy am I glad this year is nearly finished” and “Boy I really hope the next year is going to be better.”
