I Wish I Was Wrong

At some point in the last three months or so I became acutely aware that all I had been experiencing in the last three years or so (and especially in the last two years) has been happening for some grand cosmic reason.

Oh how I often wish it wasn’t so. But it is.

The knowledge of this is like when you know that the guy or gal you’re dating or married to isn’t right for you but gosh darn it he or she is better than being alone.

You wish you didn’t know it and you wish you were wrong.

It’s The Thought That Counts

If you spent a ton of money for Valentine’s Day, I’m here to tell you that you may not have had to do that for the holiday or any day.

It truly is “the thought that counts.”

My ideas won’t work for everyone. There are females out there who are very materialistic and want big or pricy things. If you feel comfortable enough in your relationship to spend $60 to $120 on a dozen roses, you probably know her well enough to know this is what you want and should do.
