What is a Sip and Go Girl? People aren’t sure.

I knew people were unclear about the name when a former TV station colleague in California commented that more women than men would visit this website because, “Men aren’t genteel enough to sip.” Another friend recently suggested we meet up for a sip and go. And yet another person first thought the phrase was a euphemism for sex.

No, it’s not like the TV show The View during which funny, smart, and sassy women sit around and laugh with their hands wrapped around steaming mugs of herbal tea.

They are not a bouncy meetup among pals at a bar for some chuckles and tales of our workplaces.

And, no, they are not a parking lot quickie between strangers.
